Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform electrical studies and/or develop, troubleshoot, and support SCADA systems for utility and industrial/commercial clients.
  • •Support protective relaying work including short circuit analysis, time-current coordination, relay settings, integration with SCADA, NERC compliance, and arc flash analysis.
  • •Complete power system planning studies including steady-state analysis, stability assessment, automation of simulations, and support of NERC compliance using models from regional entities.
  • •Develop designs and engineering for substation grounding, corona and electric/magnetic fields, insulation coordination, transient simulation, and power quality analyses using applicable tools.
  • •Travel as needed to project sites to troubleshoot/commission networking, control, and data acquisition systems, and produce accurate technical reports/documentation.

  • •Must be a recent engineering graduate (Bachelor’s Degree) or enrolled in a university pursuing an engineering degree.
