Job Summary

Build and lead full-stack engineering for Card Tech+ in a globally distributed Agile environment. Drive a portfolio of diverse projects using distributed microservices, modern application design patterns, and troubleshooting across backend, frontend, middleware, infrastructure, databases, and pipelines. Partner with teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support solutions, mentor engineers, and help modernize build/deployment pipelines with an emphasis on serverless initiatives and AWS tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions.
•Lead a portfolio of technology projects with deep experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
•Implement and enhance build and deployment pipelines, including local build/deployment pipeline improvements.
•Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across backend, frontend, middleware, infrastructure, databases, and pipelines across environments.
•Teach architecture and design patterns, and identify root cause to implement fixes and correct affected data.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
•At least 9 years of software engineering experience.
•At least 7 years building back-end services, including technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, Node, Scala, TypeScript, or Spring Boot.
•At least 3 years designing, building, and testing distributed systems.
•At least 2 years in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects.
