Key Responsibilities

  • •Tend pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum filters, and other equipment used to decontaminate wastewater via settling, aeration, and sludge digestion
  • •Collect samples and make process reports
  • •Read charts, flow meters, and gauges to detect equipment malfunctions
  • •Perform minor repairs on equipment as needed
  • •When key personnel are absent, ensure required tasks and responsibilities are completed or delegated to a trained designee

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form
  • •Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, plus availability for night and weekend on-call status
