•Tend pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum filters, and other equipment used to decontaminate wastewater via settling, aeration, and sludge digestion
•Collect samples and make process reports
•Read charts, flow meters, and gauges to detect equipment malfunctions
•Perform minor repairs on equipment as needed
•When key personnel are absent, ensure required tasks and responsibilities are completed or delegated to a trained designee

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant experience and/or training
•Class I Wastewater License (or able to acquire within 3 years) and Class I Water License (or able to acquire within 2 years)

•Ability to carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, plus availability for night and weekend on-call status
