Job Summary

Operate in the Steel Stores department by cutting warehoused material to specification using production equipment, tools, and devices. Unload transport trucks, load saws, cut billets on all saws, and perform machining of mults. Run production carbide saws and Hem saws (and any associated machining equipment if applicable). Weekend shift is Friday–Sunday, 7AM–7PM, and new hires may need to pass an aptitude test (Accuplacer).

Key Responsibilities

•Cut warehoused material to size according to specifications in the Steel Stores department.
•Unload transport trucks and load saws as part of the cutting process.
•Run production carbide saws to execute cutting and machining tasks.
•Run production on Hem saws and associated machining equipment if applicable.
•Perform all Department functions as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Be able to perform all functions in the Department as assigned.
•Take and pass the aptitude test (Accuplacer) if required for new employees entering the Department.
