Job Function: Customer Support (Service Desk)

Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver IT services for site(s), including user support processes and IT asset management (procurement, configuration, repair, projects, budgeting, license management, security and phone systems).
  • •Provide L1/L2 support for standard workstation deployment and L3 support for server and virtualization environments.
  • •Troubleshoot application/software and hardware issues, including printer and multi-function device management, and perform backup/restore.
  • •Support network/server infrastructure activities: LAN switch and access point setup/configuration, server monitoring, patching, and updates.
  • •Communicate upcoming changes and projects, provide end-user training, document knowledge base/procedures/help guides, and support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical education in computer science or equivalent experience/studies.
  • •Any Windows and/or Cisco certifications are a plus; ITIL Foundations desirable.
  • •Ability to multitask and handle high volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including fluent English communication.
  • •Strong troubleshooting skills and good knowledge of Windows Server, server virtualization, TCP/IP, and basic networking; experience defining/checking DRP and BCP is advantageous.
