Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products and components at different stages of production to ensure quality and reliability standards are met
  • •Record and analyze inspection data and write summaries/reports to validate standards or identify deviations
  • •Develop QA workbooks using test and inspection plans, and maintain documentation for quality assurance tests and inspections
  • •Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items; recommend or suggest modifications to standards, methods, and procedures
  • •Provide quality training and may guide and direct less-experienced staff in quality improvement efforts; participate in special projects

Key Requirements

  • •HS diploma/GED and 3+ years of direct experience
  • •Trained and qualified in Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level II for Visual Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, and Magnetic Particle Testing
  • •Must be a US citizen
  • •Experience conducting NDT inspections in U.S. Navy shipboard/submarine environments (3+ years)
  • •Computer skills in Work and Excel; ability to develop QA workbooks with test and inspection plans
