Join TikTok’s Technical Infrastructure SRE team to help maintain reliable, scalable core systems spanning storage, computing, and databases. Key Responsibilities

•Ensure core infrastructure performance and efficiency by establishing reliability standards and recovery SOPs.
•Investigate and resolve technical issues, run bottleneck analyses, and help improve high-availability architecture.
•Develop automated operations solutions for large-scale systems in collaboration with system development teams.
•Implement delivery standards, monitoring systems, and budgeting strategies to optimize large-scale compute costs.
•Work on diverse internship projects with mentorship while applying skills in coding, algorithms, and systems architecture.

Key Requirements

•Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Masters' degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
•Solid foundation in computer software and knowledge of Linux, storage, and network I/O principles.
•Familiar with one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, and Java, including design patterns and coding principles.
•Have coding experience in at least one of: C, C++, Java, Go, or Python.
•Preferred: experience with computing & big data and systems including Kubernetes, Docker/Containers, AIOps, Spark, Flink, FaaS, RPC frameworks, and service mesh.
