Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently review and adjudicate background check results for service professionals on the Thumbtack platform.
  • •Make informed eligibility decisions based on background check findings.
  • •Address and resolve identity verification matters affecting service professionals.
  • •Provide clear, timely information to users for background check and privacy-related inquiries, including processing data summary requests in line with consumer rights and applicable U.S. privacy laws.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Sales, Support) to train and collaborate on background checks and data privacy, and support OKRs/KPIs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26.25 - 39.96 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a related field such as Trust and Safety, Law Enforcement, Compliance, Human Resources, Legal, or similar work requiring high confidentiality and discretion.
  • •Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and meticulous attention to detail.
  • •Ability to independently manage a caseload and volume across multiple systems by prioritizing work effectively.
  • •Strong critical thinking and self-driven, resilient mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • •High School diploma or equivalent.
