Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes or VTCs to perform routine production operations on weldments and assemblies
  • •Read operation sheets, part travelers and BOROPS to prepare equipment for machining
  • •Verify conformance of finished parts to specifications using precision measuring instruments
  • •Obtain operator Certification to accept/reject parts
  • •Maintain machines by performing total preventive maintenance (TPM) and collaborate with engineers, QA, and production personnel to resolve machining problems
