Job Summary

Lead the strategy and roadmap for Roblox's Compute Platform, overseeing a fleet of GPUs and AI accelerators across on‑prem, edge, and cloud environments. Own driver/firmware management, fleet health, and platform abstractions used by product teams. Collaborate with seven platform teams to enable scalable, reliable AI compute for Roblox workloads at scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive strategy and roadmap for Compute Platform spanning Managed Kubernetes, Managed Compute Services, and fleet APIs across on-prem and cloud.
•Drive the evolution of Compute infrastructure to support Roblox’s workloads (AI, Storage, Data Analytics) with distinct requirements.
•Build and scale GPU infrastructure to support training and inference for frontier models while optimizing cost-to-serve.
•Stay focused on Compute Platform reliability for AI and Roblox workloads, reducing MTTD and recovery time.
•Partner closely with seven platform teams to understand use cases and empower them with Compute Platform primitives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 282,000 - 334,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of product management experience, focused on Compute infrastructure or distributed systems at scale.
•Deep practical understanding of Kubernetes internals and control plane components; experience productizing Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, and CRDs.
•Familiarity with GPU/accelerator architecture and scheduling challenges, including topology-aware placement and resource readiness checks.
•Experience building compute infrastructure on AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud providers (preferred).
•Background in AI model development, training, inference (preferred).
