Job Summary

Qualify and nurture marketing-qualified and outbound leads for Neon One’s nonprofit software, connecting prospects with the right sales team at the right time. Respond quickly to inbound calls and chat, prospect via phone/email/social media, re-engage closed-lost and churned accounts, and drive interest by handling objections. Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce Lightning CRM and support lead-quality improvements through feedback to marketing.

Job Function: Business Development & Partnerships

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the first point of contact for the customer value journey, qualifying contacted customers and assessing readiness to engage.
•Respond to marketing-qualified leads quickly by monitoring inbound calls/chat and proactively prospecting via phone, email, and social media.
•Re-engage closed-lost prospects, churned accounts, and past Neon One champions to explore new opportunities.
•Research accounts and key contacts to generate buying interest, overcome objections, and qualify prospects for the Ideal Customer Profile.
•Document outcomes in Salesforce Lightning CRM and keep marketing automation data complete and up to date; improve lead quality with marketing feedback.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 50,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Proven cold calling and outbound prospecting experience required.
•Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Sales Navigator, or similar is a bonus.
•Passion for helping nonprofits achieve their mission and connect with mission-driven organizations.
•Confidence and curiosity: you love asking questions, listening, and learning from conversations.
•Strong communication skills (oral and written) plus coachability and the ability to apply feedback.
