Serve as a key member of Controllership within the Media Group, supporting month-end and quarter-end close, accurate journal entries in SAP, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline. Partner with finance teams to manage CIP and fixed assets, verify UK cost transfers and intercompany eliminations, analyze foreign currency impacts (GBP/USD), and support planning, billing, and SOX control documentation while improving processes and meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and record accurate, timely journal entries in SAP.
•Support month-end and quarter-end accounting close and ensure all items are recorded.
•Assemble monthly balance sheet account reconciliations in Blackline.
•Account for CIP and fixed assets, including creating projects, placing assets into service, and recording depreciation.
•Partner with finance to handle billing data and invoices in SAP, analyze foreign currency impacts (GBP/USD), and support planning and SOX control documentation.

Salary: USD 80,000 - 95,000 weekly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
•3+ years of accounting experience; CPA or on track.
•Experience with month-end and quarter-end accounting close, ensuring deadlines and complete recording of items.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical ability.
•Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and research ad hoc accounting issues to drive resolutions.
