Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide proactive legal advice on global employment matters including hiring, compensation, performance management, and wage-and-hour compliance.
  • •Review and enhance employment policies, handbooks, and employment agreements to support rapid global growth.
  • •Refine and execute internal investigations processes, including standardized protocols and sensitive investigation handling.
  • •Lead threat assessment and mitigation strategies focused on protecting trade secrets and intellectual property.
  • •Drive legal and operational strategy for international growth, including global mobility, PEO/EOR frameworks, and cross-border compliance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 293,900 - 367,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. degree and at least 12+ years of employment law experience, ideally with both top-tier law firm and in-house exposure in a high-growth environment.
  • •Deep knowledge of California employment law and experience with global expansion.
  • •Proven track record conducting and overseeing complex, sensitive internal investigations from inception to resolution.
  • •Experience with trade secret litigation and government contracting (preferred).
  • •Licensed to practice law in California (or eligible to register as In-House Counsel).
