Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure special education and related services are provided as determined by the IEP team.
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other state-required special education documentation.
  • •Monitor student progress toward IEP goals using learning management system data and work samples, and analyze data to plan remediation and enrichment.
  • •Provide synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences, using accommodations and modifications as specified by the IEP.
  • •Maintain grade book and academic integrity, communicate regularly with families and learning coaches, and facilitate collaborative special education meetings.
Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 46,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree.
  • •Alabama 6-12 Special Education Teaching Certificate and an active state teaching license.
  • •Ability to clear the required background check.
  • •Ability to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data to drive instructional decisions.
