Provide strategic, in-house employment law counsel across the US, Europe, and APAC for a high-growth AI tech company. You will advise on hiring, performance management, investigations, accommodations, leaves, compensation, and terminations; guide workforce planning and organizational changes; develop and implement HR policies; monitor evolving employment laws globally; and manage cross-border issues with external counsel to balance risk and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Advise People and business leaders on a broad range of employment matters, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, investigations, accommodations, leaves of absence, compensation, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
•Provide legal guidance on workforce planning, reorganizations, reductions in force, and organizational changes.
•Partner with Human Resources to develop and implement employment-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
•Monitor and advise on employment law developments across the United States, Europe, and APAC.
•Support compliance with federal, state, and local U.S. employment laws, as well as applicable European employment regulations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
•Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
•At least 6 years of in-house employment law experience, preferably within a high-growth technology company.
•Deep knowledge of U.S. employment laws, including federal, state, and local requirements; and demonstrated experience advising on European employment laws and practices across multiple European jurisdictions.
•Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employment disputes.
