Build and extend backend and on-chain systems that convert payment instructions into immutable records. Own components across the transaction lifecycle—calldata construction, signing, nonce management, L2 submission, and finality—while integrating institutional custody signing pipelines. Extend Solidity contracts with upgrade-safe patterns (UUPS/OpenZeppelin), implement payment integrity controls, and add end-to-end audit logging. Write automated tests and participate in an on-call rotation within a remote-first team.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement components across the on-chain transaction lifecycle, including calldata construction, signing requests, nonce management, L2 submission, and finality confirmation.
•Build and extend institutional custody signing pipeline features, including submission paths, async handling, and throughput management.
•Implement payment integrity controls such as commitment-hash verification and co-signer policy evaluation.
•Extend Solidity smart contracts using upgrade-safety, storage-layout, and role-based governance conventions.
•Write automated tests for backend services and smart contracts, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of professional backend software engineering experience.
•1–2 years of hands-on experience with EVM-compatible blockchain systems.
•Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
•Production experience developing or maintaining Solidity smart contracts.
•Familiarity with upgradeable proxy patterns (UUPS) and OpenZeppelin, plus strong automated testing practices.
