Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, configure, maintain, and manage lifecycle of IMS TM, IMS DB, and IBM MQ on z/OS.
  • •Drive platform modernization initiatives and adoption of new technologies and capabilities.
  • •Ensure stability, availability, performance, and resilience in a highly business-critical environment.
  • •Troubleshoot complex incidents and performance challenges.
  • •Manage upgrades, migrations, security improvements, and vulnerability remediation, and contribute to disaster recovery and continuous service improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a z/OS System Programmer within IMS and/or MQ environments.
  • •Strong understanding of IMS TM, IMS DB, IBM MQ for z/OS, and transaction-processing environments.
  • •Preferably experience with high-availability solutions, Parallel Sysplex, disaster recovery, and critical production environments.
  • •Understanding of mainframe security, compliance, and operational controls.
  • •Preferably experience with performance analysis, tuning, automation, monitoring, and incident management.
