Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare repair orders based on technician-submitted symptoms, problems, causes, and required repairs/services by entering them into the service database.
  • •Verify VMRS codes and ensure billing hours align with standard repair times.
  • •Create and submit customer invoices from repair orders using customer-specific rates and mark-ups.
  • •Improve repair order quality to reduce customer disputes and ensure invoices reflect full service provided.
  • •Create vehicle repair service estimates and communicate with customers to retrieve purchase order approvals and resolve billing issues; gather and upload supporting paperwork.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED with 3 years’ related experience (or an equivalent combination of education/certification and up to 1 year experience, or 5 years’ related experience).
  • •Proficient with Mitchell One or similar estimating systems.
  • •Strong written, verbal, and phone communication with customer service skills.
  • •Proficient computer skills (MS Office, email, typing) and ability to navigate software to generate estimates and process invoices.
  • •Knowledge of standard repair times (SRT) and/or experience in service writing is preferred.
