•Own the portable libraries problem space: define and build libraries that run across iOS, Android, and web, shaping interfaces, safety models, and ergonomics for consumers in every runtime
•Develop production-grade portable libraries in system languages (Rust/C++) that are fast, safe, and reliable across Canva devices
•Join a technical leadership group to shape the mobile platform’s technical direction and contribute where strengths land hardest
•Lead with code in a deeply hands-on role; there is no separate architecture function and you will be writing the work
•Communicate across the stack by ensuring libraries are understandable to frontend engineers who don’t write Rust/C++
