Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze current orders and historical data to determine the best source and maintain adequate supply of assigned commodities.
  • •Initiate timely release of purchase orders in coordination with the Master Scheduler and negotiate contracts for production materials.
  • •Reduce excess incoming inventory by reviewing action message reports and maximizing purchase value within company requirements and policies.
  • •Resolve issues with suppliers and internal departments related to source selection, price, deliveries, specifications, quality, and other terms; assist with payment issues when they arise.
  • •Manage Ariba purchasing, maintain supplier schedules weekly, support lean manufacturing initiatives (kitting and value stream mapping), and develop/maintain purchase part strategy (PFEP).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 1 year experience in supply chain (including internships/co-ops).
