  • •Ship direct customer touchpoints for Wise’s Spend products, scaling to reach millions of additional customers.
  • •Improve the core cards flow, ensuring excellent experiences for first-time onboarding and card usage.
  • •Create clear, maintainable interfaces and documentation while maintaining performance and consistency.
  • •Identify and solve important customer problems by coordinating with other teams on cross-cutting technical issues.
  • •Drive product improvements and proactively manage technical debt through planning and alignment.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing backend-driven applications.
  • •Strong product mindset focused on customer experience and data-driven decisions to fix customer pain points.
  • •Write testable code and follow Test-Driven Development, best coding practices, and code reviews with open feedback.
  • •Solid Java 17+ knowledge with experience using the Spring framework.
  • •Experience with relational databases, query optimization, and schema design; familiarity with continuous delivery approaches.
