Key Responsibilities

•Ensure a safe work environment and comply with safety policies and federal/state/local regulations (including OSHA and MSHA).
•Safely operate a dump truck and pup trailer to transport aggregates from quarries/gravel pits to customer job sites.
•Operate the tarp mechanism to cover and uncover the truck/trailer before and/or after each load.
•Comply with Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
•Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, including checking under the hood, trailer, tires, and lights; complete the check-off sheet and clean truck/trailer per standards.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•1 to 2 years related experience and/or training preferred (or equivalent combination).
•Experience in the building materials/construction industry preferred.
•Must be 18 years or older and pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
•Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL and Medical Card per DOT requirements.
