Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver specialized New Product Introduction (NPI) technical training in-house and at customer locations, managing classroom and lab activities while adhering to safety procedures.
  • •Learn and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of new/improved products and support training delivery through certifications on multiple platforms and processes (including safety modules).
  • •Develop and update training curriculum, student guides, and supporting materials, following instructional system design and contributing to course design approvals.
  • •Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for training systems and system repairs so functionality supports course objectives, including safety retrofit verification.
  • •Support PDP Phase Gate 3 or earlier for NPI products, collaborate with engineering/manufacturing on first chamber builds and testing, and mentor other instructors while identifying customer training opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or training, or equivalent military experience, plus 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience.
  • •Hands-on experience installing, programming, maintaining, operating, troubleshooting, and repairing semiconductor machinery equipment (following manuals/specifications/blueprints/schematics).
  • •Ability to deliver training and present to external customers, including 2 years of formal or informal education/training delivery experience (desirable).
  • •Preferred: nationally recognized certification in instructional design or 2 years of curriculum development and/or instructional design experience.
  • •Ability to work with Applied Materials semiconductor equipment, including Applied Etch SRP equipment (highly desired).
