Key Responsibilities

•Utilize mechanical hardware design experience to develop ruggedized structures, interconnects, cooling, and electronics integration for shipboard Effectors subsystems
•Support all phases of programs from capture and concept development through production
•Develop technical solutions across the product life cycle including proposal, design, manufacture, integration and test of electronics for multiple programs
•Lead the definitions of mechanical outlines and construction details, component selection, mechanical drawings, electrical/RF layout, and deliver final technical data package
•Lead a design release into production and transition-to-production activities
•Track and report cost, schedule, quality, and performance with EV and EAC inputs
•Prepare proposal inputs and ensure standards compliance while removing roadblocks
•Work with minimal direction to meet objectives and coordinate with senior personnel and external customers
•Lead a small team of mechanical engineers when required
•Interact frequently with senior personnel and customers on significant technical matters

Salary: USD 107,500 - 204,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Eight or more years of experience designing electronics packaging for military, aerospace, or commercial applications
•Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced degree in related field
•Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T)
•Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility
•Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software
