Job Summary

Supervise daily operations of a vehicle reconditioning inspection center, overseeing vehicle inspection, reconditioning, and production performance in a lean environment. Lead and develop a team of leads and front-line associates (at least five leads and up to 70 associates), mentor direct reports, and manage performance. Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving while ensuring quality, production, cost, health & safety, and loss prevention compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee day-to-day operations within the inspection/reconditioning center to meet quality, production, and cost objectives.
•Direct and develop leads and front-line associates, including recruiting, training, performance management, and succession planning.
•Ensure adherence to operating standards, systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
•Maintain production capacity and support production planning; ensure progression path training and certification processes are executed.
•Lead problem solving and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with health and safety and loss prevention guidelines.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of management experience in automotive or a lean manufacturing environment.
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
•Experience leading and developing associates with performance management and coaching.
•Ability to achieve project deliverables and company metrics.
•Strong communication skills and proficiency with computers; ability to work overtime/weekends and meet physical requirements.
