Job Summary

Help shape Tixr’s content and social presence by pitching Instagram formats, managing day-to-day publishing across Instagram and LinkedIn, and coordinating content briefs with the design team. Capture original photo, video, and interview content at Tixr-powered live events, and support blog and newsletter initiatives. This is a 3-month, part-time internship (20–25 hrs/week) based at Tixr’s Santa Monica HQ, with potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities

•Set direction for Instagram by pitching new content formats, series, and channels.
•Source and evaluate video content and determine which clients/events to spotlight.
•Brief the design team with creative direction from concept through final cut.
•Manage day-to-day publishing across Instagram and LinkedIn, including content calendars, scheduling, and caption copy.
•Attend Tixr-powered events to capture original photos, video, and quick interviews, and help support blog/newsletter content and sponsorship activations.

Key Requirements

•Be a student or recent grad who is organized and detail oriented, with genuine excitement for marketing as a craft.
•Have strong hands-on social media experience, including an active personal Instagram and a feel for what performs and why.
•Have strong opinions about content trends and formats and be able to pitch ideas (you won’t edit content directly).
•Be genuinely interested in live events, such as music, sports, or culture.
•Be comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI) or excited to learn and have the ability to work on-site part time in LA area.
