Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a fully competent wireline crew lead for all well-site and shop engineer duties, including unit maintenance and pre-job, well-site, and post-job activities.
  • •Manage a team of two or more field operators and oversee training, competencies, verification/approval of operational documentation (time sheets, expenses, DOT files), and HR processes for direct reports.
  • •Coordinate with customer representatives and drill crews to align operations with the rig and/or production facility.
  • •Provide records of assemblies as run to the customer representative and advise on logging and completions operations, interpreting logging data and troubleshooting wellsite issues.
  • •Manage crew and equipment at the wellsite and shop, ensuring equipment/facility maintenance and maintaining required records and communications.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in engineering with 1+ year of wireline experience, or a two-year technical associates degree with 3+ years of wireline experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 7+ years of wireline experience.
  • •Be fully competent in wireline field engineer duties at the well site and at the shop, including unit maintenance and pre-job duties.
  • •Supervise and train junior operators, including overseeing training and competencies.
  • •Coordinate operations with the customer representative and drill crew, including advising on logging and completions operations.
  • •Perform responsibilities safely and in accordance with operations and equipment/logistics manuals.
