Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage in high-impact ML projects with partnered AI labs and platforms, designing, reviewing, and optimizing PyTorch models and evaluating ML code for efficiency and correctness.
  • •Collaborate with Scale’s research team to co-author technical reports and research papers.
  • •Contribute to GPU optimization, scaling, and trade-offs in real-world deep learning workflows.
  • •Be part of a supportive, interdisciplinary network of researchers and engineers advancing frontier AI.
  • •Participate in the evaluation and interpretation of generated AI systems and publish findings with the team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80 - 100 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •PhD or postdoctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •1-3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist.
  • •Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow). Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and MLOps tools (Docker, Langchain) is a plus.
  • •Eligible to work in Canada.
