Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead post-award grant management and compliance strategies for public infrastructure projects with clients and the Advisory team.
  • •Support business development for post-award grant management support contracts, from opportunity identification and proposal development through interview and negotiations.
  • •Build and maintain client relationships and leverage professional networks to support marketing, proposals, and cross-selling of WSP capabilities.
  • •Ensure grant activities are compliant with federal guidelines, including 2 CFR 200, and manage responsible oversight of grant requirements.
  • •Oversee complex post-award grant deliverables, including milestone/progress and financial reporting, obligating grant funds, managing grant agreements, subrecipient oversight, and grant closeout.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Policy, Urban or Transportation Planning, or a related discipline.
  • •7-10 years of relevant experience performing complex grant functions, including federal discretionary grant writing, executing grant agreements, post-award administration, and grant accounting (reconciliations, reimbursement requests, and financial reporting).
  • •Previous experience supporting business development efforts, shaping pursuit strategy, and securing new advisory engagements with public- and private-sector clients.
  • •Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • •Ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to unanticipated client requests; exercise ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources.
