Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply or develop advanced technologies and scientific principles for systems integration of propulsion and related interfaces for missile and space-vehicle applications.
  • •Support development and production programs across Raytheon product lines.
  • •Review manufacturing processes, resolve problems, and work directly with subcontractors on design and manufacturing of solid rocket motor propulsion systems.
  • •Manage propulsion system development projects and propulsion subcontracts, including review/disposition of subcontract data and change requests and oversight of supplier operations.
  • •Interface frequently with customers, develop technical presentations for management/government audiences, and represent the program’s technical capabilities and future directions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s in STEM and 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • •8 years of experience in propulsion technology applied to solid propulsion systems.
  • •Experience developing solid propulsion systems from conceptual design through final test/assembly.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
  • •Security clearance is required prior to start date; interim clearance ability is required prior to start date.
