Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with account managers to understand customer requirements and position SONiC + Spectrum whitebox switch solutions for AI/HPC win strategies.
  • •Design end-to-end architectures for customer proposals, including GPU server configurations, storage connectivity, and SONiC-based leaf-spine fabrics with RDMA/RoCE.
  • •Build and validate hands-on demos/POCs by deploying SONiC switches and GPU servers, configuring networking, installing software stacks, and running benchmarks.
  • •Support production SONiC switch clusters with monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • •Own and manage customized SONiC software projects on Spectrum white-box switches and collaborate with internal engineering/product/OEM partners to resolve complex firmware, drivers, OS, routing, and GPU/network performance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •6+ years in data center or cloud infrastructure roles (solutions architect, systems engineer, network engineer) with direct exposure to presales or customer-facing technical work.
  • •Strong data center networking background for AI workloads, including leaf-spine designs, low-latency/high-bandwidth fabrics, RDMA/RoCE, and ideally InfiniBand.
  • •Practical SONiC knowledge: installing/upgrading, interface/routing configuration (BGP/EVPN/VXLAN), telemetry/monitoring, and troubleshooting incidents.
  • •Hands-on expertise in GPU server architecture and AI/HPC cluster deployment, including sizing, configuration, and performance tuning.
