Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete software engineering and quality assurance tasks across the SDLC, including test case development/execution, regression testing, and automated test implementation.
  • •Verify product performance goals and ensure project requirements are met, documenting testing activities and release approval matrices.
  • •Manage progress against agreed schedules by identifying likely delays or failures early and communicating them to the Director of Engineering.
  • •Collaborate with Development and Hardware teams and other QA engineers to improve software design, testing processes, and software quality.
  • •Prepare test environments and support testing activities including hardware setup, device flashing, software installation/execution, integration testing, and operational testing on flights around Melbourne.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete software testing across the software development lifecycle, including test case development and execution, regression testing, and automated tests.
  • •Experience preparing and managing test environments and operating systems, including cross-platform testing on Windows and Linux.
  • •Ability to analyze and solve complex software engineering problems individually or in a team.
  • •Experience working in an Agile software development environment and contributing to software solutions and automation frameworks.
  • •Strong fault-tracking skills.
