Job Summary

Design and improve electrical and instrumentation&control systems for industrial, mining, and institutional facilities in Québec. Lead tender preparation, develop plans and specifications, and coordinate with project managers. Supervise technicians and draftspeople, manage documentation and budget contributions, and ensure safe, high‑quality project delivery while supporting multi‑disciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Design electrical and instrumentation control systems for industrial/mining projects and develop plans, specifications, and technical details.
•Lead the verification and preparation of tender documents, specifications, and technical deliverables.
•Prepare quantity takeoffs and support accurate budget estimation for project planning.
•Supervise technicians and draftspeople contributing to multidisciplinary project execution.
•Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
•5+ years of experience in electrical system design for industrial/mining/institutional environments
•Member in good standing with the OIQ
•Experience in consulting engineering (asset)
•ASP Construction safety card; ability to travel occasionally
