Key Responsibilities

  • •Onboard new customers to Fastly’s security products and guide their secure deployment.
  • •Architect, implement, and maintain secure and performant Next-Gen WAF solutions across deployment models.
  • •Provide existing customers guidance on additional features, health checks, and performance tuning.
  • •Write and present training materials to customers and internal teams.
  • •Assist pre-sales with Proof-of-Concept work and architectural guidance for pre-sales teams.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 4+ years of total experience in Solutions, Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • •Experience creating and delivering advanced web and security solutions for enterprise customers (3+ years preferred).
  • •Strong, hands-on web application security knowledge (e.g., OWASP Top 10, DDoS, rate limiting).
  • •Deep understanding of HTTP & TLS and troubleshooting tools/techniques (e.g., curl, dig, tcpdump).
  • •Experience with project management: analyzing requirements, designing/documenting a solution, and delivering to completion.
