Key Responsibilities

  • •Prep vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing.
  • •Prepare vehicles in one of Carvana’s high-tech inspection/reconditioning centers using state-of-the-art tools.
  • •Maintain quality and readiness of vehicles for cosmetic paintwork workflows.
  • •Work safely using required PPE and follow safety procedures.
  • •Operate vehicle equipment and tools as part of a fast-paced production process.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
  • •Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • •Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive weather conditions.
  • •Use safety equipment (e.g., face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask) and protective garments as required.
