Key Responsibilities

  • •Source, build, and steward a local grants portfolio aligned to Micron’s social impact strategy, emphasizing STEM access and career pathways for underrepresented communities.
  • •Deliver STEM Signature Programs (including Chip Camps, Careers in Tech, and Going Tech) through trusted community partners and manage grants through impact evaluation.
  • •Build and implement strategies to engage staff volunteers and contributors across U.S. regions and Mexico, including site-level planning for “Star Light.”
  • •Formulate community engagement plans for each area, establish relationships with nonprofits, schools, government/civic groups, and represent Micron at local functions and as a spokesperson.
  • •Partner with internal teams to integrate social impact into business priorities and work with impact measurement leads to track, assess, and communicate program outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in social impact, community engagement, corporate philanthropy, or related fields.
  • •Proven success building and leading partnerships with nonprofit, multilateral, and philanthropic organizations to deliver programs for underserved populations.
  • •Experience managing grant portfolios end-to-end, including sourcing, due diligence, contracting, and impact reporting.
  • •Strong global collaboration skills, including working across time zones in matrixed organizations, with excellent judgment and analytical thinking.
  • •High digital proficiency (including Artificial Intelligence tools), strong communication skills, and ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
