Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and apply a business architecture framework to operationalise business outcomes using an agile value stream methodology, including OKRs and delivered epics/features.
  • •Oversee and support the execution of architecture initiatives.
  • •Shape business operating model changes and work closely with primary change programmes to optimise delivery across architecture, technology and transformation services.
  • •Translate key strategic initiatives into coherent designs, identifying common capabilities and converging delivery value streams and customer journeys.
  • •Support Business Architecture Tooling implementation and contribute to development of the group business architecture framework.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of the UK market, with a background in Retail Banking/Wealth or Commercial Banking recommended.
  • •Proven experience in business strategy and business architecture/design, or broader experience in transformation or technology delivery roles.
  • •Ability to analyse current state and design future-state operating models, including capability maps and value streams aligned to business goals.
  • •Understanding of digital technical design across technology stack layers and ability to design solutions for complex business and technology problems.
  • •Demonstrable experience using AI to enhance processes, plus analytical skills working with large amounts of imperfect data.
