Job Summary

Plan and implement daily and weekly preventative maintenance work and project lists for a technically complex sawmill. You’ll provide direction and support to reports, supervise safety/quality/cost/delivery and employee engagement, and ensure the Canfor Operating System (COS) is followed with focus on abnormality response. Coordinate planned crew work to balance maintenance with production targets, maintain work-performance standards, and manage maintenance programs within budget.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide direction and support to reports and foster effective working relationships with employees.
•Supervise and provide leadership in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.
•Ensure the Canfor Operating System (COS) is followed with emphasis on abnormality response.
•Develop and follow the preventative maintenance program, ensuring cost targets are within budget.
•Plan and implement daily/weekly preventative maintenance work lists and project work lists, coordinating planned crew work to meet maintenance and production targets.

Salary: CAD 79,450 - 113,500
