Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and validate complex weight, balance, and mass properties data to support aerospace vehicle design and performance.
  • •Estimate, measure, and verify mass, weight, stiffness, and inertial properties of aerospace components and systems.
  • •Define design requirements and maintain weight and balance accounting systems, generating detailed reports for internal and customer use.
  • •Lead weight control efforts and provide expert guidance on vehicle/system configurations impacting mass properties.
  • •Collaborate with flight systems engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer specifications and program objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-US equivalent qualification directly related to the work statement.
  • •5+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor’s, or 3+ years with a Master’s, or equivalent PhD experience.
  • •3+ years of Mass Properties experience.
  • •Experience with 3D solid modeling software (e.g., NX, Catia, CADD).
  • •Experience with three-dimensional parametric modeling using NX/Teamcenter or CATIA/ENOVIA methods and tools.
