Key Responsibilities

  • •Organize, arrange, and follow through personalised tours and itineraries, field activities, and guest services via coordination with other departments and external/government providers.
  • •Deliver accurate and timely information to guests about history, cultural heritage, and natural particularities of the property and destination.
  • •Arrange on- and off-site activities, tours/transfers, and special guest requests to ensure comfort and convenience during visits.
  • •Be responsible for a zone of the resort’s reserve area, supporting ecological maintenance, security, and monitoring, and contributing to integrated environmental policy development.
  • •Respond to emergency situations using the property’s emergency procedures, ensuring safety of people and protection of company equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Ensure allocated guests receive activities, tours, and excursions in an informed, timely, and professional manner.
  • •Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of resort services, functions, and offerings, and proactively recommend options to guests.
  • •Provide accurate information to guests on history, cultural heritage, and natural particularities of the destination.
  • •Have knowledge in specialised areas such as African and Rwandan flora and fauna, natural history, and history/culture.
  • •Be fluent in English (additional languages are preferable) and have professional guiding knowledge related to wildlife.
