Key Responsibilities

  • •Actively engage in bank sales processes, profile customers, and follow up by phone or email to meet sales and service goals.
  • •Accurately open, close, and maintain customer accounts following policies and procedures; apply personal banker training knowledge.
  • •Advise customers on Old Second products and services, gradually learning more complex retail products including IRAs and loans.
  • •Provide teller coverage as needed for basic transactions (checks, deposits, withdrawals) and balance the drawer while adhering to procedures.
  • •Maintain operational accuracy and compliance (e.g., Records, TD Ops, BSA/Fraud/CTR’s, BAI, Signature Cards, CIP, Beneficial Ownership) and complete annual training.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.1 - 29 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 1+ years of related experience for Level 1 (banking, cash handling, customer service and/or sales).
  • •Must become licensed with NMLS registration within 60 days of assuming the role and meet bank training requirements.
  • •For Level 2, requires 2+ years of related experience; for Level 3, requires 3+ years with some banking/sales, client relationship management, consultancy experience, or cash handling.
  • •Must successfully complete the Universal (Relationship) Banker Cross Training Development Plan curriculum (or equivalent experience) for Level 3.
  • •Demonstrate excellent customer service, professional communication, math/computer proficiency, and knowledge/compliance with bank rules and regulations.
