Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Account Executives to translate startup requirements into technical solutions throughout the Claude adoption journey from evaluation to deployment and expansion.
  • •Win technical evaluations by developing evaluation frameworks that demonstrate Claude’s performance for specific startup use cases.
  • •Build credibility with founders and startup engineering teams by guiding technical architecture decisions and communicating in builder language.
  • •Collect insights on how startups are using Claude, identify emerging use cases and deployment patterns, and relay feedback to Product and Engineering.
  • •Travel to customer sites and startup events for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or a technical founder with founder-led sales experience.
  • •Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies, understanding early-stage velocity and constraints.
  • •Strong builder credibility from experience as a software engineer or technical founder; able to earn the trust of technical founders and startup engineering teams.
  • •Deep technical proficiency building and scaling AI products, including AI engineering best practices and the ability to demonstrate Claude’s fit for specific use cases.
  • •Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production, including context engineering and evaluation frameworks.
