Job Summary

Shape and execute the company’s government relations strategy as an external-facing leader on the Policy and Government Affairs team. Advocate with congressional offices and Administration officials, monitor federal legislative and regulatory developments, and assess impacts to business priorities. Manage Political Action Committee (PAC) strategy, coordinate external messaging with internal partners, and ensure compliance through timely LDA and FEC filings.

Key Responsibilities

•Meet regularly with congressional offices, committee staff, and Administration officials to advocate for legislative and regulatory priorities.
•Attend congressional hearings, agency meetings, and high-level policy events to represent corporate interests and expand the company’s footprint.
•Proactively track and analyze federal legislative and regulatory developments, assessing business impacts and sharing actionable insights.
•Help manage and optimize the company’s Political Action Committee (PAC), including fundraising campaigns, board governance, and member communication.
•Coordinate external messaging with internal teams (Stakeholder Affairs, Policy, Legal, Compliance, Communications) and ensure compliance through quarterly LDA reports and FEC filings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 145,200 - 200,400 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience in government affairs with direct lobbying and external relationship management, ideally including time in a U.S. government or congressional office and within fintech/payments/financial services.
•Proven expertise in political and government affairs tactics and strategies, with a strong network in Washington, D.C. and/or key state capitals.
•Demonstrated experience administering compliance for political giving and federal lobbying disclosure requirements.
•Ability to identify complex legislative issues and translate them into actionable, external-facing advocacy strategies.
•Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills, including public speaking and relationship building.
