Lead the I&C and digital engineering scope for Power Uprate projects, ensuring safe, high-quality design, modification, and testing of I&C and Digital systems. Drive compliance with NRC, NERC, IEEE, and ANSI standards while coordinating with EPC partners, OEMs, and site engineering to deliver reliable, constructible, and safe solutions. Support owner’s engineer and independent reviews, and provide technical leadership to resolve I&C/Digital issues and keep project and outage milestones on track.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the I&C and Digital scope for EPU projects, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
•Direct and review I&C and Digital system designs to ensure compliance with IEEE, NRC, NERC, and fleet standards.
•Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, and site engineering to ensure compatibility and constructability of I&C and Digital modifications.
•Support owner’s engineer and independent reviews to validate design quality, operability, and reliability.
•Provide technical leadership to resolve I&C and Digital issues and maintain project and outage milestones.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
•10+ years of nuclear engineering or heavy industrial engineering experience, with 5+ years in electrical systems design, modification, or major projects.
•Direct experience with Extended Power Uprates, electrical upgrades, switchyard/grid integration, or equivalent $1B+ projects.
•Strong knowledge of NRC, INPO, IEEE, NERC, and ANSI codes and standards.
•Demonstrated ability to lead electrical engineering teams and coordinate with EPCs, OEMs, and site operations.
