Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high standards of service to Cromwell Hospital customers while working with the Senior Radiographers team and reporting to the Superintendent.
  • •Ensure monitoring standards for patient care, technical performance, and reporting to deliver a high-quality service.
  • •Assist in caring for department equipment, keeping it clean and reporting equipment faults immediately.
  • •Participate in a Quality Assurance programme for equipment, processing, and radiation protection while maintaining accurate records and escalating issues.
  • •Maintain effective booking, information, reporting, and filing systems and participate in an on-call rota with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential).
  • •HCPC registration (essential).
  • •General X-ray / CT experience (essential).
  • •Post-graduate experience in a Senior II / Band 5 Radiographer post (essential).
  • •Be tactful and empathetic when dealing with patients and relatives.
