Job Summary

Design, develop, and integrate RF test solutions for communication systems as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams. Own hardware and circuit design lifecycle activities, including schematic capture, analysis (performance, stability, ESD/lightning, signal/power integrity), board layout coordination, test plan creation, and root-cause analysis. Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects while mentoring junior engineers and delivering hardware that meets performance specifications.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and integrate Collins products within communication systems and test solutions in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
•Develop engineering and production test systems, including test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings/schematics, and circuit designs with analysis.
•Contribute to completion of communication system and test system development stages.
•Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
•Lead and perform circuit design lifecycle activities, including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, analysis, board routing instructions, coordination/review of PCB layout, test plan creation, root cause analysis, and integration.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
•Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
•Proven experience in electronic circuit and hardware development, including digital/analog/RF electronics, schematic capture, hardware integration, and hands-on testing/troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies.
•Strong proficiency with engineering tools and test equipment (e.g., ECAD/PCB tools and RF test equipment) to support circuit design and validation.
