Key Responsibilities

  • •Build a safety culture by developing and implementing health and safety programs and facilitating training with site leadership.
  • •Lead health and safety audits, routine site checks, and compliance gap closure to meet HelloFresh and OHS requirements.
  • •Proactively identify, assess, analyze, and mitigate job hazards in partnership with site management; maintain effective controls.
  • •Oversee incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis; mentor operational personnel through the process.
  • •Manage injury management, WCB claim management, and Return-to-Work (RTW) processes, and oversee onboarding and on-the-job safety training.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed post-secondary education in Health and Safety (Certificate, Diploma, Degree) or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Professional Health and Safety Designation (CRSP, CRST, CSP, ASP, CMIOSH).
  • •5+ years of Health and Safety experience, including 3 years of verifiable leadership progression.
  • •Demonstrated ability to build a safety culture and communicate to get team member buy-in.
  • •Experience with Google Suite (Calendar, Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and video conferencing (Hangouts Meet).
