Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical research and development for B-side business systems supporting TikTok Shop’s European Global E-Commerce operations.
  • •Own a functional module and deliver business logic abstraction and architecture design based on business characteristics and best practices.
  • •Build and improve system stability, including multi-data-center scheduling, stability governance, loss prevention/control, and disaster recovery downgrade.
  • •Analyze business scenarios and data to understand user needs and remove system capacity bottlenecks to ensure user experience.
  • •Update and enhance software capabilities and develop/direct software testing and validation procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (Computer Studies), or a related discipline.
  • •5+ years developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java, Golang, Python, or C++.
  • •Experience with server-level system design and performance optimization in distributed high-traffic scenarios (preferred).
  • •Good teamwork and communication skills with an understanding of e-commerce business (preferred).
  • •Experience developing e-commerce / global e-commerce business systems and B-side business systems (preferred).
