Adviser, Immigration & Compliance

Manage the end-to-end immigration work portfolio and ensure legal compliance for the administration of foreign employees in Cobre Panamá. Serve as a functional expert on immigration matters, supervise immigration compliance and records, and support onboarding and visa/permit renewals. Coordinate with external legal firms, internal teams, and public institutions, maintain HRIS employee data, and act as the primary point of contact for employee and candidate immigration-related inquiries. Conduct audits and monitor supplier payments and compliance risks.
