Key Responsibilities

  • •Support architecture, design, analysis, and verification of power systems for powering high performance CPUs/GPUs/APUs.
  • •Design and implement a full power delivery network; model and validate PDN impedance and droop targets; verify power supply integrity using lab and in-situ silicon measurements.
  • •Guide the system design team with optimum component selection and detailed layout guidelines during design execution.
  • •Collaborate with Board Validation to develop test plans/procedures for system-level validation and characterization of design margins.
  • •Mentor junior power engineers and verify their design and validation work.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 116,550 - 199,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical understanding of power supply architectures and PDN in server, OAM, and PCIe environments.
  • •Experience with design and validation processes for high quality/reliability power circuits.
  • •Knowledge and experience with multi-phase buck/buck-boost regulators, digital PWM controllers, bus converters, LDOs, PMICs, charge pumps, and ADCs/DACs.
  • •Printed circuit board design experience, including schematic capture and PCB design tools such as OrCAD or Allegro.
  • •Proficiency with simulation and modeling tools for power electronics (e.g., Simplis, PSpice, HSpice) and lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, eload, function generator).
